Seattle Japanese Garden - Persimmon
Late fall in the Japanese Garden can bring much activity. It's the time of year when the gardeners begin pruning and preparing for winter. I wasn't expecting all the activity when I arrived. I had to change my thoughts on photographing and focus more on details and looking away from the pond rather than toward it. The persimmon tree was loaded with fruit and the overcast sky cast beautiful soft light on the fruit, so I spent some time working to make an image of these beautiful objects.
